"We loved our stay! Excellent location, near heaps of restaurants, massage places, bars and shops. Hotel is beautiful, modern, with a comfortable room and bed, with automatic blackout blinds and awesome views of the city. Well known for its outstanding onsen and spa facilities - need to book in advance even if a guest. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, steam room and sauna facilities next to the gym. Highly recommend!"

"Exceptional Stay at Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Marriott Merlin Beach Phuket! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. We were particularly touched by the thoughtful touches for families — our children loved the extra gowns, slippers, bath bombs, and kids’ activity bags provided specially for them. It’s those small, genuine gestures that make such a big difference. The food selection was excellent, offering a wide range of delicious options. We did encounter a small hiccup when a halal-labelled item was initially cooked on the same surface as pork, but the way the team handled it truly stood out. Rather than dismissing the concern, they took it seriously, addressed it immediately, and ensured all future dishes were prepared separately. They were problem-solving focused, sincerely apologetic, and even offered thoughtful little extras to make up for the oversight — a gesture we deeply appreciated. We also loved the amazing Halloween celebrations, which were full of creativity, festive energy, and wonderful themed treats — a highlight for both kids and adults! The resort’s coral beach is absolutely beautiful, especially for those who enjoy snorkeling or exploring marine life. While it’s not ideal for swimming due to the coral, it’s still a lovely and unique feature that adds to the resort’s charm."

The extras Expedia promises were never given though ai asked for room upgrade when checking in. Last hotel did this without us requesting "
