"If you’re staying in Kyoto and planning on doing a lot of day trips I would really recommend this hotel. It’s right next to the train station. They also have luggage forwarding and the staff was very helpful."

"This hotel is very clean and the location was excellent: 3 minute walk to Kyoto station, and it was helpful to be close to Tokyo Tower for orientation from the station. Important to know: Daiwa has 2 hotels near this station: taxi took me to the one with “Terrace” in it’s name by mistake but I refused to get out since we were not near Tokyo tower (on other side of station)."

"The room itself was a good size and clean, the staff were very helpful with any enquiry always cheerful, only downsides were the size of the bathroom, could hardly move around in there, and also the pillows were very firm."

"Loved this hotel!!! It was only a 10min walk from Kyoto station and just a few minutes from 7/11. I stayed in the annex and not the main building but still had all the same amenities. Staff was super helpful and nice, plus the food in there was amazing. Room was bigger than I expected and had plenty of space for my suitcase to be open on the ground and still walk around. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto!"

"Convenient location with nearby konbini pharmacy restaurants and less than 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Very clean comfortable room and wonderful amenities. Comfortable bed and room was quiet to sleep at night. Loved the shower and tub combo - the tub was deep enough to soak after a long day. Excellent water pressure. Staff were friendly and helpful. Water dispenser on each floor by the elevator helped us stay hydrated. We didn’t use the laundry room but it was always busy with other guests when we passed by. Amenity bar was always well stocked in the lobby. Enjoyed the monthly craft activity making a bracelet. Really enjoyed the afternoon snack hour and evening social hour. AYCE matcha soft serve DIY parfait and a wide selection of tea during the afternoon hour was our favorite. We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast buffet but hope to try it next time. We would stay at this hotel again if we visit the area again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
