Top Southern Kyoto Hotel Reviews
Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto
8/10 Good
"Rooms were amazing. They were as modern and amazing as the pictures! The bed was super comfortable. Laundry on-site was easy to use and access was pretty available. The cafe was also pretty convenient to have. But skip the restaurant! The food was bad and extremely salty. During my stay, some room near me was smoking in their room as the smoke smell filled the hallways. I reported this to the front desk but they were not able to find this person and put a stop to this immediately. This also happened the next night. We all received letters informing us about this incident but I was disappointed that the hotel was not able to take an effective action to address the smoking in a non-smoking room and area. Luckily, I don’t think the smell entered my room, but it’s disappointing to see this happen and nothing was done in the moment."

Hotel Granvia Kyoto
8/10 Good
"Beautiful property. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was extremely gracious and helpful and most spoke okay English. Food was atrociously expensive (we ordered half a sandwich and fries (about 15), and a cup of coffee (no refills) and it came to about $40 USD. Breakfast buffet was 5,000 yen. A cup of coffee was 1,500 yen, or about 7 USD."
Miyako City Kintetsu Kyoto Station

"The stay here was truly remarkable! Moving around was so effortless thanks to the convenient location. The staff was genuinely warm and helphul, making me feel right at home. I also loved the delicious breakfast each morning - such a great start to the day. Everything exceeded my expectations!"
