"Great hotel, well placed near a mall. Up the road from some tasty eateries, and very close to public transport. The converted prison grounds it's located in resemble a medieval castle, but the hotel itself is modern and cozy. A car will get you into the CBD considerably faster than rail, but the tram line stops right near the zoo, and then the Queen Victoria Market. I ended up using it extensively with no issues."
