"Stairs in our room up to be a little scary at night. Beware the breakfast. We changed reservations for the last day, and learned that breakfast was NOT included. Was 29 euros...very steep. Beware: This wasnt clear! Shuttle to airport convenient but expensive. Alilaguna about a 12 minute walk and less than half the cost."

"Hotel Monte Carlo staff went above and beyond . They were gracious , informative , and made sure every need was taken care of . We loved our apartment with a beautiful view of the canal and gondolas . They were great about arranging us transportation both from the airport and also to the port in Chioggia. Again, couldn’t be happier with our experience ."

"Contacted the hotel 4 wks & then again 2 wks in advance about our reservation - they never got back to us. Arrived & they were going to rent us the room, despite it being nearly midnight (but before their deadline to checkin). We paid an additional $125 & they rented it to us. Got bite 10 times by a Mediterranean recluse spider (venomous). Would never stay here again, at $500/a night it was terrible."

"We had a great stay at hu Venezia. The resort is clean, quiet, pet and family friendly. Having the restaurant/cafe on site made it easy to eat before exploring Venice or after getting back. They offer a shuttle service that takes you to and frpm Venice for a fee. This was VERY convenient, just look on their website or ask the front desk for help."
