Having stayed at this property several times prior to the pandemic I have always come back because of the excellent service and hospitality from the front desk staff.
Unfortunately this is no longer the case and will most likely prevent me from coming back despite the numerous visits in the past.
Upon check in, the front desk staff were very dimissive and to some degree rude.
I arrived at 10am and asked if I could check in and unfortunately was told check in was at 2pm.
That was not an issue as the official check in time was for 2pm.
I returned at 1:57pm and asked if I could check in however the front desk person told me my room was not ready.
I replied and stated that my check in is supposed to be for 2pm in 3 minutes time, he told me to wait and that he would check if my room was available and then walked away. After 30 minutes the person still had not returned so I approached the desk again and the next front desk assistant assigned me a room. No apology for the wait but instead seemed annoyed that he had to assign me a room.
Later in the evening the air conditioning kept switching off so they sent maintenance to take a look who then proceeded to clean the air filter which I can only say seemed to have not been cleaned for atleast 2 years which was causing the unit to constantly shut down.
After cleaning the air con the maintenance person felt the need to leave all of the mess from the air filter in the room which left a nice smell in the room.
