My children really enjoyed the pool, Splash water playground and Buds indoor playground. The staff was all friendly and accommodating. The hotel doesn’t serve halal food at any of its restaurants and there are none nearby too so you would have to order food in through food delivery apps or walk out to Orchard area.

Breakfast options were limited, and same everyday. Dining staff was rude. There was no cutlery in room to use for delivered food. Location was bad as nothing to see around.

THe place was noisy and very stressful to be at - felt like a noisy kindergarten vs. a tranquil place called Shangrila. Too bad … very ridiculous the sheer number of children allowed to run around and screaming. Definitely not adult friendly. Not going back ever.

(1) Overall it is still a pleasant environment to stay. (2) However, our shower area has a little foul smell when water is draining. (3) Guests in neighbouring room was quite noisy till early hours. That actually disturbed our sleep !!

In a nutshell, wait, wait and the waiting game continues. Waited 45mins for check in despite me arriving at 3.45pm. Waited for another 15mins for seats at the lobby cafe? Terrible!
