"We loved our stay here. The host was lovely and welcoming and did her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The homemade breakfast and the bath were the highlights of the stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This was my first time staying in a Ryokan, the staff were very helpful, the room was a fantastic size, and the personal onsen was perfect. Transport here is surprisingly convenient for being in the mountains. The only downside I had was whomever was staying on the floor above was very heavy footed and caused me to wake up at 3am."

"The hotel is perfect, we loved it!!! The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast that was very weird and the fact that there was nothing to eat around the hotel, only very bad and expensive restaurants "

"Absolutely loved our stay. The bedding, the private onset, and even the lifting toilet really made our experience the best! Let’s not forget the food!!!! We tried out the French menu and 10/10!!!!!! We would love to come back again and share the experience with loved ones. "
"my husband and i came to the Hotel Indigo Hakone for a night during our honeymoon. this stay was definitely a highlight of our trip. the room was absolutely gorgeous with our private outdoor bath. the surrounding area was beautiful to look at. we had a very relaxing time and experienced great service from the staff. we also enjoyed the convenience of the free shuttle bus from the odawara station. "
"Spacious and modern property with friendly and helpful staffs. My room was essentially a massive studio apartment with separate toilet and shower, stove, living room area, microwave, fridge, AC. and air humidifier. I also had a balcony with foliage view November. The onsen is very clean with indoor and outdoor tub. The outdoor area also has a foliage view, perfect for relaxing after a full day exploring Hakone. The location is about 40 minute away by bus from Hakone, but the amenities were worth it for me. There is a 7-11 right across the hotel for any last minute needs or late night snack. There are also some restaurants within walking distance. I tried the izakaya next to 7-11 and thought it was ok. The breakfast buffet is small but had good food and service. I would like more options and rotating menus throughout the week however. "
"The same breakfast at two days in a row. Considering the amount I paid for, the breakfast was poor.
I wish one dinner with Japanese styles and the other with Western style. Two dinners in Western styles were not so much excited."
"We had a great experience staying here. With breakfast and dinner are provided with kaiseki style, it was prepared properly and organized. Staff are kind and friendly. The room has tatami mats and very clean with outdoor bathtubs. Although the facility is kinda run down, we still enjoy our stay. The train station is just next to the hotel and bus stop is right outside the hotel. We will stay here again next time."
