Comfortable stay on our way through to our dest8nation. Clean room and pool was also very clean. Although it’s next to a train line it was was pretty quiet.

Enjoyable stay at the Tramway. Staff were great very easy to arrange our late arrival and super friendly. room was good just a standard motel room but great water pressure in the shower and good Aircon which is a must for a North QLD Summer stay.

Pleasantly surprised old fashioned hospitality
Totally loved our overnight stay. It was great to see the sugar cane trains passing by. Parking straight outside room. Room had everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly.

No Frills Highway Motel
Basic, no frills highway motel. Our room at the rear was very quiet. The room was clean, with frig, hospitality tray, comfortable bed, good bathroom. Blinds did not block the outdoor lighting.

This property is right on a “cane train” line and they run 24/7. Wifi was NOT available in rooms!!

Wifi isn't available in all rooms - reception in my room was zero, I had to sit outside or in the office to use wifi. Shouldn't be advertised as "wifi in room" if it doesn't work!

Upon entering the room, I was stoked to be greeted by a clean and tidy room. The room was definitely not new but it was kept clean, and a lot of thoughts put in to the decorations of the room which was very inviting. I loved how the colours of the linens, chairs, cushions, towels, and the lambs coordinated very well. The bed was also super comfy. Keep up the great work Tramway team! Will definitely return.

Wet basic facilities and old linen and towels. Not terrible but would not stay again. The regular cane train noise right at fence line tracks was not ideal

Not sure what "wet basic facilities" is actually referring to. Linen is provided by a commercial laundry in Mackay, and we have no control over the quality. Having said that, my opinion is that it is an acceptable standard.
