"I am a frequent guest at Sycuan Casino Resort, and one of the things I have always appreciated is how warmly I am greeted — by name — by the valet team, bell staff, bartenders, and even security. Normally, my visits are truly enjoyable. Unfortunately, this most recent stay was very different. The front desk service was disappointing the staff member I dealt with was rude, condescending, and unhelpful when I tried to ask a simple question. At the pool, I was unable to find a single available chair. I asked three different servers for assistance, but each one told me to just walk around and look for chairs with towels on them that might have been abandoned by other guests, and to remove the towels myself. This did not feel like the level of customer service I have come to expect from Sycuan. I truly enjoy this resort and hope this was an isolated experience, but I wanted to share this feedback in the hope that service standards can be addressed so future visits reflect the excellent hospitality I know Sycuan is capable "

"Pros: Clean room, attentive friendly staff, great location (walkable). Cons: Breakfast could have longer hours, with a little more selections, and a 24 hour complimentary beverage (coffee, tea, water)."

"Quiet and comfortable but maintenance was poor. shower didn't work properly. Also, room wasn't cleaned and maintained well. Coffee pot was not cleaned and packaged coffee, sugar, etc. was not replaced in the 4 days we stayed there."

"The woman working the desk on Saturday May 9, was absolutely wonderful. She was helpful, understanding and compassionate in a time that was extremely difficult. She will never know what her kindness gave our family. She was working the day shift. Thank you so much, the rest of the stay was great. Room was nice and quiet."
