"Lovely room, and good food cooked well"

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"This is a beautiful old inn in the heart of the Cotswolds. It was very convenient to all the places and sites we were planning to see. There are some hikes close by, and they provided maps and directions. The restaurant had a very good menu with lots of choices. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and helpful."

"A great way to finish one of our days hiking the Cotswold Way! Great drinks & food, lovely atmosphere downstairs, excellent staff, and comfortable/quiet bedroom. We would definitely stay here again if we make our way back to the region!"

"Fantastic stay in a beautiful village right on the edge of the Cotswold. The entire place was really lovely, including the staff - I actually booked for the wrong date but they quickly fixed everything and was able to adjust. Rooms was excellent, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, I also had dinner in the garden and the food was delicious. Added bonus that the village is where some of Downton Abbey scenes were filmed so that was fun!"

"Beautiful old pub in idyllic setting. Perfect for a quick drive into Stratford and the race course. Very warm welcome, lovely clean individual rooms retaining lots of the buildings charter. Bed was beautifully clean and we had a fantastic nights sleep. Full English breakfast freshly cooked was spot on. Great walk around the village, we will be back soon. Thank you 😊"

"Bought a night at Hollow bottom for my daughter and fiancé. They thoroughly enjoyed the stay and said that the bedroom and bed were a really good size. They also had a lovely meal in the evening. They would definitely recommend a stay here."
