Room was lovely, very comfortable bed and products in the bathroom were of high quality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Jack who found me softer pillows at 10pm when I asked. Breakfast was great, lots of options at the buffet and cooked breakfast was delicious

Overall, the hotel was well maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the cookies at the reception were delicious! The breakfast was also really good. Only downside was that there was some white noise in the room and the floors were a little squeaky.

Staff were lovely, receptionists very helpful, Sunday lunch was good again restaurant staff helpful and polite our room and bathroom was very clean a few grubby marks on the carpets were a little off putting otherwise a good size room. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet which was well looked after and replenished plus a good selection of hot food from the menu. Will probably visit again soon as we felt welcomed and looked after. Thankyou The Queens for a lovely stay.

The location of this hotel is wonderful. Gardens directly infront, and town and amenities all close by. The food was excellent, and the outside eating terrace was a lovely area. Some of the outside furniture is in need of replacing though. Some staff were more welcoming and pleasant than others. And as is often the case, there were occasions when the hotel seemed short staffed. Overall, we were happy with this hotel and would be happy to stay again.

Everything was great - no issues. Car parking was also well integrated but it appeared to be only 24hr blocks. Might be handy if you arrive early to be able to get 26 or 30 if exploring the next day. Room was large and airy, nicely decorated and bathroom was clean and well appointed with everything you need. Only thing I couldn't locate was info about mini bar and if the water in the fridge was complimentary or chargeable. I'd happily stay again.

We had a great short break at the Queen’s Hotel. Perfectly located, with decent car parking and lovely large rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the free homemade cookies were a nice touch. Overall, a great place to stay for a family getaway.

Queens is a lovely hotel, we used to stay at 131 but got fed up with the noise from below. Old school traditional hotel ideal location for town. As far as we are concerned it ticks all the boxes. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but I’m sure we will on our next visit. Joe on reception was very informative and friendly.

In a really nice part of town. Breakfast was lovely, various selections and well maintained. The name is very fitting for the property, an older Queen like aesthetic. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and cozy.
