"We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful secluded cottage near Volcano Village. It was nice waking up to the views of the rainforest. "This property is midway between Volcano and Kona off of Rt 11. It has beautiful grounds and the owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It’s fairly remote so you must drive to whatever you need. The room was spacious and clean. There’s no air conditioning and it was uncomfortably humid in the room. The shower is very narrow and the bathroom is up 3 steps in the room. Morning coffee didn’t offer much in terms of milk or cream, just flavored containers of half/half. However, there’s a great bakery in town for espresso coffee and treats."
