"The hotel is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully preserving its historic character while offering modern comforts. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue with the hot water: we had ice-cold showers on two days and only barely lukewarm water on the third. While the staff were apologetic, there did not seem to be a strong sense of urgency or concern about resolving the problem, which detracted from what would otherwise have been a very pleasant stay."

"This was a great little place to stay. So convenient for the tube and immaculately clean and modern. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable was that the window was faux and we were actually underground. For that reason, the mobile signal was very poor to make calls. Overall, a good place to stay."
