"Third time staying at the Buckeye Cottage. This is the best family rental in Newport. 4 beach cruisers, plenty of boogie boards for everyone, two surboards (mid length & long board), at least 6 beach chairs, two umbrellas, sand toys, beach towels, board games, cards & chips, gas bbq, two car garage, full kitchen with utensils, drip coffee & kcup machine. Steps to beach, surfing, restaurants, grocery store, bars, donuts...place has it all, just bring clothes and food. Our family of 6 had plenty of room. Take a step back in time and make some family memories at this original beach cottage! Cant wait to come back!"

"I won’t leave a super long and detailed review, but it was one of the best stays that we’ve had in a hotel in my entire life to be honest. The staff is all really young and with that USUALLY comes inexperience, but this staff went far beyond expectations and would be something you would see at a Four Seasons. They were courteous, engaging, talkative, empowered, and did what was right for the guest at all times. We had a smaller room, but the decor was nice, the toiletries were amazing, and the small touches like the beach basket and the cooler in the room were next level. If you have a chance to stay, I would recommend without a doubt. It is our go to hotel. I’m moving forward if we come back to this area."
