"After considering the reviews I was worried. But my stay was great, especially since I was only in my room to sleep; most of my time was spent out of it. Managed to get early check in at 2:45pm and I think lines form at the elevators because people don’t understand them. "

"The hotel lobby was under construction when I visited but was still clean and spacious. The room was also very clean, though looked like it could use some maintenance (wallpaper peeling off, cracked floor boards). The breakfast was pretty standard and included hot / cold items as well as fruit. I was a little disappointed bag storage is only offered from 6-10 as I wanted to catch an early train to Connecticut. Otherwise, good stay and I'd consider this hotel again if I was going near Times Square."

"This is an older property, so going in, you shouldn't expect Trump Tower. That being said, this is a nice place, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My brother's room had a toilet issue that was quickly resolved. If you are looking for a clean place to sleep while you are sightseeing around the city, this is it. Other than stubbing my toe on the dresser outside the bathroom one morning, it was a great stay. A very short walk and you are right in the middle of Times Square. There is also a 24-hour convenience store almost right next door with a grill. I had a cheesburger and fries, awesome! Highly recommend. "

"The smell of the bathroom is weird, it didnt smell foul but it smells like old and moist. I had to buy a small space perfume. It was clean, i just didnt like how it smelled. Also the pillows smells like sweat. Staff was amazing. Everyone is so nice. "

Room Amenities While the room was clean, we did notice a lack of a few basic essentials that are typically standard: • Waste Management: There were no trash bags provided in the bins, which made keeping the space tidy a bit less convenient. • Toiletries: There was no shower cap included in the bathroom amenities. Facilities & Maintenance The most significant issue occurred during my morning routine. Halfway through my shower, the hot water completely cut out. Dealing with a cold shower in the middle of a New York trip was a major inconvenience and a disappointment for a hotel in this category. Final Verdict If you are looking for a reliable, "no-frills" spot that covers the basics, this hotel is a decent choice. It is an okay stay for a short trip, provided you don't mind calling down to the front desk for those small missing items."
