"Staff were very helpful! Rooms were very small but had a large bathroom/shower Unable to adjust heat in the room - wry warm and the bed was against the wall!"

"This hotel was perfect as a base for activities in central London. Very convenient for tube stations, shopping, restaurants and West End shows. Check in done by guests on tablets, but hotel staff readily available to help. Staff all pleasant and helpful. Room spacious but a little soulless. Clean and comfortable."

"The room was clean but it was right next to dumpsters. This meant a six am wake up call when the dumpsters were being loudly picked up. Beware room 160. If you are a perimenopausal person with hot flashes you may want to skip this hotel in the warmer months as there isn't A/C. They do provide you with a fan, and a window that opens a little. In my case a window next to fragrant garbage. Lucky me!!! Bless room 160. Still, the hotel is near transport links, and restaurants."

"Hotel Z Strand was as advertised. Great location, near subway station, pubic transit as well as bus tour stops. Walking distance to major attractions and sights along the River Thames. We did have a small room with no windows so be prepared that this option was very tiny with limited privacy or temperature control."

"Not a fan of the fee for early check in, staff was kinda rude everytime I spoke to them, cafe closed early even though it was like a food restaurant as well so not really accessible, vending machine inside was SO expensive & hotel located in not the greatest area to go out in at night. Other than my room was nice, clean, calm and quiet which I enjoyed and it had clean halls etc. Though I never got room service the whole 4 nights I was there."
