"The old Hilo Seaside Hotel on the corner of Kalanianaole Highway and Banyan Drive, across Reed's Bay prime location central to Hilo staples like Ken's and The Ponds Restaurants. The hotel itself consists of buildings with a central tropical courtyard or the swimming pool. Small gym, bikes to borrow, a mediation and common area. The room was clean and cozy. Much effort made in reducing carbon footprint by having the ability to open windows instead of only air conditioning."

"By far the most magical hotel at in all of Hilo, Hawaii. Once we entered the lobby we felt the positive energy and why so many people love this place. The room was very clean and comfortable, and housekeeping was extremely quick and thorough. The free breakfast is refreshing and a nice perk. Of course the location is outstanding because of how near the hotel is to all of the best venues in Hilo. Stay here and save big!"

"We stayed 3 nights @ the cottage. The property is well kept, the room is spotless, very nice decoration. The room looked exact like in the pictures. You can watch the sunrise from your beautiful patio. You can cacth those birds singing if you are an early morning person. We will definitely stay here again if we revisit the island. "
