Mount Franklin Holidays from AU$527

The room was clean and in a good location for access to the city of Melbourne. However it was a small basic room with no television as specified. The window was covered with an unretractable screen. Behind the screen was a wall of the next building. The website boasts of city views, We certainly did not get that room. As you could not effectively get to the window, it could not be opened. Overall clean room which if you are staying for 1 night - would be ok. However, I could not imagine staying longer than a single night. There was nothing to do in the room or look at.

Not clean - stained furniture, blocked basin, grubby tabletop, carpets and walls fairly grubby Noisy - the trains were very loud if you are on the train track side (the side with the racecourse view) Lifts - frequently 2 out of the 4 were out of service Mugs and glasses - very few, only one decent glass, would expect more than that for an apartment that comes with a kitchen!

Fabulous location. MOA staff incredibly helpful from booking to checking out. The apartment had everything we needed and really felt like home.
