Eleven was incredibly affordable for the area. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Has everything you need and in the perfect location. Easy check in and out process.
Check in was in a different hotel located in the central street, about 5 mins drive. Property itself was unassuming on the outside, but the room was excellent!!! Comfy beds, serene, minimalist bathroom, and spotlessly clean. It could use a clothing cabinet, but otherwise, I will definitely stay here if I visit Daylesford again.
The bed was nice and comfortable.
Rooms were a little loud and could hear other people walking around from your room. Shower would turn hot or cold during your shower and had to keep changing the setting. Nice and clean.
Beautiful, clean, comfortable, the only 2 things I would say are negative are there is no toaster for making breakfast, so if you don’t eat cereal and you are trying to save money by not eating out every meal this is a problem, the other issue we found is the shower is affected when people in other units use their water, so you can be in a hot shower and get a freezing cold one the next minute, but other than those two things, it’s a lovely place
The interior was nice and new, and the bed was lovely and very comfortable. But due to the sliding door (the only entry point to the room) being glass, I couldn't have the curtains open as my door faced the car park. From a safety perspective, as a solo traveller, I didn't feel comfortable knowing anyone could see I was on my own. I also hated not being able to open the curtains and have natural light come through. It was a last-minute booking due to other accommodation falling through, so I had few other options. If you are just looking for somewhere comfortable to sleep, it's fine. But with no natural light and basic amenities, it wasn't a very inspiring or joyful place to stay indoors.
