Always stay at this motel as the rooms are comfortable and it is in a quiet area The only problem we had was with the sliding glass doors as we found them very hard to close as they kept getting stuck but other than that everything else was fine We will definitely be staying there again

The old building i.e. the restaurant - unfortunately closed due to covid. It was hard to find as many street signs in Monto have been removed.

It was clean reasonably comfortable, they needed more towel racks or hooks in the bathroom only had one broken one there.The shower head also needed cleaning to run more efficiently.

The bathroom didn’t even have a hook to hang your clothes or towel on and the owners dog barked non stop for hours making sleep impossible. We didn’t meet the owner because the owner wasn’t present. Our room keys were left in an envelope at the door

We did not stay at this property. The booking was cancelled via email to Expedia on 12th June 2021,to which no response was received. The cost of the 2 rooms was charged to my credit card on 27th June!! Not impressed.

Adequate for a a one nights stay
We did not see any staff, even though we arrived at 4pm. The key was in a box near the door. The bed was too soft and the room was dated and gloomy. On the positive side we were close enough to walk to the pub for dinner.

No-One Home!
Didn't see any staff for my entire stay including check-in or check-out even though my arrival and departure times were within the office hours. Did not get the room I had booked, no note was left to explain why the different room. My reservation was for a room with a queen and a single bed, got a room with queen bed only. Bed was uncomfortable. I had to leave cash for payment which I was very uncomfortable with, in case it was not received, only option was to video myself putting the cash in the box with the keys. Supposed to be a restaurant, but it was also closed the entire time.

Country Comfort
This is an older style motel but was very clean and comfortable. Reception was welcoming and the free Wifi was good. The water pressure was great and the water hot. Although Monto can be cold overnight, the room was very warm and the reverse cycle airconditioner wasn't needed. The fridge was large and well-stocked and there was a microwave. The kitchen was closed on our first night but we were directed to a pub within walking distance and received free garlic bread for showing our room key.

A country motel that was clean and comfortable. Due to COVID there was no interaction with staff on arrival. We just picked up a key from the box and let ourselves in. Not a lot of information about Monto in the room and whilst dinner could be ordered the option of a breakfast was not. The motel is easy walking to the main street of town. I would certainly recommend this motel and a visit to anyone travelling out this way. Visit the silo murals!
