The property is adjacent to a building site and to get from the parking behind a supermarket because the lift park could not accommodate our vehicle one must push cases through an uneven dirty restricted building zone and rubbish bin walk. We should have been told. The apartment is basically equipped and was dirty / dusty in every room not to mention the disgusting surprise under one of the beds that really should have been picked up by staff cleaning. The heating lamps do not work in the bathrooms nor was this addressed the heating was unresponsive. They sent a cleaner to clean the toaster and replace a broken light she cleaned the disgusting toaster with a bleach product it remained Moldy and unusable on the inside as well as chili ally contaminated. Not enough pots for cooking and the ones given were dirty. Servicing frequency means certain items were insufficiently supplied ie towels supplied were one for each person for a week! Here is a tip it’s not a good idea to put tea towels on top of the rubbish bins in the kitchen. The price was high compared to where we normally stay which has none of these issues.

Nice apartment close to station and resturants.
Lovely apartment close to station and restaurants. It is a contactless apartment, no receptionist on duty. This is all explained in the booking process but an email 24hrs before arrival would help as it is complicated. We arrived after a 7hr car trip and had to request the email with instructions. If you are not a smart phone user do not book this apartment as your phone is needed at every step even to place rubbish in the dumpsters!! 2 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable with kitchen well equipped. Will stay again as now we know the process!

The access and security to the property was good. I didn’t realise that you needed to pre arrange the parking, but overall easy location, neat and tidy place. Cosy little place with good heating and quiet.

We disappointed that the aircon repeatedly failed. Additionally, there was a fan that ran off and on through the night.

Hi Paul,I'm sorry to hear you experienced issues with your aircon unit, we are unaware of any technical problems with them however will look into this further. Sometimes to have them turn on you need to ensure the remote is directed up to the vent. The fan you might have heard would have been the laundry fan, it is a double switch you need to ensure it is turned off and allowing time for it to completely stop. Our housekeepers on site can assist with operating amenities within the apartment if requested, we always want to ensure a comfortable stay.

Terrible check-in system. Relient on a charged phone!!!. Car park didn't allow us in. Lucky the bodycorp man spotted us and helped.

Hi Tracey,Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us.We do operate a virtual check-in at Anchorage however our receptionist are available 7 days a week for all guests support and we offer an afterhours concierge service for any issues outside office hours. We do provide all guests upon check in our arrival instruction email which provide guests with the necessary information to guide them through their stay and refer back to. The electronic key system introduced to Anchorage was trialed and received great success at our sister locations of South Yarra & Fitzroy. Removing physical keys provides guests with the convenience of one less thing to grab when running out the door and the ease of receiving additional keys at the click of downloading an App without any staff on site. We understand the apprehension of having your apartment key on your mobile in the scenario that your mobile goes flat, but with our 24-hour concierge service, we can provide a solution if these events were to occur.I do apologies that you experienced difficulties with accessing our onsite parking, we do advise to contact our team at the time of issues so we can attend to them and resolve them urgently for an enjoyable stay. Location great, after hrs person didn't know local parking options for longer than 3hr parking. It's across the rail in the railway carpark for those who's car don't fit in the stacker parking inside building. Other than that was great thanks.

The apartment itself was good and the location but the room was very dusty. The dust was very visible and couldn't open the window as it was locked. Second time we stayed here. Great location. Cleaning definitely needs improvement.

Not like photos. Located in a terrible spot right in front of station. Constantly hear trains. Apartment was dark. Not much light. Not much light. Very dusty. Not like photos. No help after hours. Couldn’t find car park. Awful awful location.

it’s a stunning place and everything was perfect! the one thing id say was the two bedrooms are very different! one has a tv and ensuite and the other one doesn’t have any of that, so there was fighting over rooms but apart from that everything was great

Anchorage was very convenient to my relatives that I was visiting over Christmas. It has what I needed, but the apartment, I felt, was quite sterile in furnishings. It is all clean, and modern. I had no problem with it being next to the station, in fact that is convenient, although I was on the fifth floor and facing away from the railway.

This was a fantastic place to stay. The apartment was spacious with everything we needed. The view over the bay was spectacular and the location was ideal. The property was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

Being very close to the train is unique. The bbq didn’t work and no free parking for our car a Jeep during the day, which wasn’t practical. There was delivery trucks with reversing beepers at 5am. Cleaners were very friendly and accommodating. Close to grocery store.

The property was excellent - very clean with great appliances - was in fantastic location. There was an amazing gym in the building - would have been great to have access or some information on how to get access to the gym.

Great position, close to shopping & transport. Apartment clean & well serviced Good space inside. Poor sound proofing, even on the 5th floor; disturbed by rubbish being emptied, reversing trucks, deliveries and store keepers from dawn. Parking very expensive!! on site & local parks restricted to 2, 3 or 4 hours during the day.

Two minor gripes: little difficulty finding the correct keypad as it was hidden behind a door below the keypad for permanent residents; and the bathroom heatlamp wasn't working (though I didn't need it). Clean and comfortable with modern appliances and free WiFi. Especially liked the nespresso as I wasn't staying long enough to cook any meals.

Nice but noisy
Nicely presented apartment, clean with good amenities. Our apartment was on the second floor and faced the back of Hampton Market. Very noisy at 3 in the morning with fruit and veg deliveries and again at 5am with trucks and forklifts. We did see other apartments higher up and facing the bay, and they were very nice.

Cool spot to stay visiting Melbourne
Easy instructions for entry to a modern comfortable flat. Everything was available for a good long stay in a trendy part of Melbourne. Transport links and all amenities were within very easy reach.
