Great location to the beach and the Promenade for shopping. Valet parking cost is reasonable and what I loved was the staff had umbrellas on stand-by for us to use because it was a very rainy weekend.

Gateway Hotel Santa Monica
Remolded room was too dark. Light by the bed was very poor. The pillows were lumpy. Maid opened a window and didn’t close it. I didn’t know until the middle of the night since it was hot and noisy.
