Gateway Hotel Santa Monica
the property was decently within walking of plenty of shopping. Our second night there we returned to people in our room repairing the shower. We had not been notified of any issues, we asked to be moved and it was done quickly but would have loved a heads up that we needed to be out of the room ...

We were staying there for the LA Marathon weekend and had a delightful experience walking to the pier for sunrise, going to URTH Cafe for brunch, renting bikes to go to Venice, and being so close to all the action of Santa Monica!
