Lovely stay and the staff are really nice - the weekend opening hours threw a bit of a spanner in the works, but well worth the price and the building and grounds are beautiful.
A real discovery. Exceptional value for money. It is more of a guesthouse than a hotel but the location is fab - yards from the Thames path. The service is personal, gentle and calming. The lovely stuff will rustle up poached eggs and nice coffee. It has the most fantastic leafy garden and a charming library. Quite the sanctuary.
If you are fed up with identical box like hotels with no character - this is just the tonic you need! Quirky hotel with antiques, large rooms a great breakfast - receptionists and staff that are not too busy and can actually talk to you, rather than looking at a screen and ignoring you. A welcome break from all hotel chains - this is the direct opposite and all the better for it
A very peaceful and welcoming accommodation in the heart of Hammersmith. It is an old building and so not all rooms are en suite but there are ample facilities.
The vegan organic inclusive breakfast is a nice touch and very relaxing.
As it is an old building there are some creaking floor boards that may affect a light sleeper if people are moving around early in the morning, but not really an issue.
I will definitely be visiting again!
