My review is more for the host than this property since I never got to see it.As of the morning of arrival I hadn't received checkin instructions so I contacted the host, who then called to tell me the apartment had "a problem" and was no longer available. She offered another "brand new, larger apartment in a better area" so I agreed to check it out.My daughter and I set a time to meet the host for check-in between 4 and 5 pm. We showed up at 5, but somehow she double-booking herself to do another property showing so we waited on the sidewalk with our luggage for 15 minutes. Thank goodness we didn't arrive between 4 and 5 as originally planned!Then we went inside...I won't go into the details of everything that was wrong with the other apartment since they were mostly due to it not quite being ready to be rented. The host assured us someone would be coming within the hour to take care of everything, but I wasn't very pleased at the prospect of having to deal with workers coming in and out during my holiday. Plus, she really couldn't guarantee any of it would actually be taken care of since the apartment owner wasn't answering her calls.After 30 minutes of volleying complaints vs. empty promises (and no workers arriving) I requested a refund and went to a hotel. I did receive my refund, however I don't know why this property is still listed for rent since "the problem" was that it wasn't approved for short term rentals.
