The staff were friendly and helpful, but the ‘suite’ decor and fittings are tired. The room cleanliness was poor, rubbish behind bathroom fittings, toilet had not been cleaned.

My room was not like the picture on the website. My bed had stains on the sheets and the bed itself was dirty and dingy : The rooms was very cold and I asked for an extra blanket and did not receive it. The walls were cracking and carpet was very dirty. The bathroom needed major help . I was very disappointed with this rooms because it was not worth the price .

It’s clean and the staff are great; very helpful and accommodating. The location is great; very close to the Paddington station. It’s an old building (but what is not in that area); I guess that’s where it gets its character.

For the Americans, I'd compare this to a Super 8. The location was convenient. A 2 min walk to Paddington station. A £10 taxi from Hyde Park (rounded up). The staff was helpful and polite. The lobby is lush and lovely. The room itself had pros and cons. It was clean, with its own air conditioning and heating unit. The bedding was clean and smelled nice. At first glance, it looked great. Once you see the details, there are things that lowered the rating to average. Furnishings that are broken (or actively breaking), the shower that has fantastic water pressure, but floods if you're in there for longer than 4 mins, the bidet sprayer you can't use because it will flood, etc. Overall, it was fine for a place to sleep in between long days spent exploring London. There's a wonderful Italian restaurant directly across the street that opens around lunch and doesn't close till 10. Several coffee shops down the block for that morning caffeine hit (the room has an electric kettle, tea bags, and instant coffee). Cabs are everywhere, so it's easy to hop in and go wherever you want. Everything is walkable, and I felt safe doing so (even as a woman walking alone).

It was a very cute place, the room was very clean, comfortable, had tea pot and lots of tea. The morning staff was so nice, friendly, helpful, she was such a nice woman. The evening staff needs a little work... This is a super cute place, great location, shopping, restaurants, great coffee so close. I would just like to request they work on their curtain esthetic, they were relatively newer but but cut up horribly, gave it a shabby look and feel. but that didnt ruin the stay.. would book again

This hotel is excellent value for money, one of the best I’ve stayed in for the budget. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room, while small, had everything needed. It’s also very convenient for Paddington, I would definitely stay here again

The location of the hotel was perfect to get around London. However, the hotel is very dated and could definitely do with a revamp.

Clean and has everything one needs for a day in London on business. Room feels tight and needs a bit of TLC. Bed very soft and draft from the window. Bathroom ok with decent towels and good shower with hot water. The room was in the middle of the second floor and people walking past talking/ on the phone etc. during the night, so didn't get a lot of sleep.... good wifi in the room if you want to work but not a great amount of space to sit & work comfortably with a laptop. Great location to Paddington Station.

The hotel was very nice, we wanted to stay at something smaller for the experience-the room was very small but worked, the cold air did come in the room but we put towels and coats to block-the heater worked great. The train station was about 1 block which was great for us and we easily caught a taxi to go look around

If served it's purpose as a one night stop near the train to Heathrow but the hotel is drab, my single room little more than a closet and noise from both outside and other rooms was bad. There are better options in this area.

The reception staff and the location were the highlight. It gets a little bad from there. Located on the 5th floor we were given room 505. On first look great, room size and bathroom were very ok for one night. The bathroom was quite grim inside the shower cubicle and the sink was partly blocked so didn’t drain very quickly. The beds were super soft , almost to soft. The worst bit of our stay though was that the room was clearly located underneath the laundry room and that all night we had the glorious sound of a washing machine spin cycle. Our noisy neighbours whom shared the same floor decided between 2am and 5.30am to shout and share some sort of game of in and out of rooms …. Needless to say I’ve had very little sleep whilst writing this. If you’re after a one night stay and you’re not fussy on this stuff, ideal for you. We won’t be returning.

I loved the quaint hotel property, just a stone’s throw from Hyde Park in Paddington neighborhood of London! Staff was accommodating, as we arrived around 9:00am they gave us the first room that was clean so that we could get sorted and settled after our overnight flight! I recommend a stay there!

This property was conveniently located near paddington station which was what I was looking for. Also, for the price point I knew what we were going to get but on top of being small the room was very rundown. Threadbare carpet, chipped cabinets, etc. The street below was loud at sometimes but overall not terrible.

Room was very tired and needed some renovation. Wallpaper stapled to the wall, grout missing from tiles, staining on surfaces and generally run down. Only good thing about it was the location

This is in a convent location near the tube station. There was a kettle with coffee and tea in the room. Only one chair for 2 people. The big problem with hotel was that there was no WIFI and on their website when we booked it and upon arrival there was a notice saying no WIFI.

Lovely Hotel
Lovely hotel, good location, friendly staff. They make it both the check in and check out process seamless and stress-free. This is my second time staying here and I would stay here again.

The rooms are not well kept. Everything is really old and not well maintained. The room was cleaned to the best it could be — but it’s an old facility with needed repairs and deep cleaning.

Super nice staff, easy access to the underground and train station. Nice area with many food options nearby. The property itself is unfortunately not in its glory days. In need of some serious upgrades and modernization. Still dark carpets in rooms, dark bed skirts, windows that are very old and not able to open/close all the way. No wifi was working for our stay and fire alarm went off at night. Otherwise it was a fine stay if you just need a place to sleep and shower.

The room for 3 people was way too small. It was like a college dorm room with 3 twin beds in it. No room for luggage. Wi-Fi was out while we’re were there. Carpets need replacing furniture needs replacing. Bathrooms are nice. The location is great - located near 2 tube stations and right across from Hyde Park. The price is right but the room size will deter us from staying there again.
