"I went on a solo trip to Cancun and stayed at Aquamarina. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the hotel since I planned to be out most of the time doing excursions. I booked a package with the all-inclusive breakfast. The breakfast was about a 5/10 — not a lot of variety and mostly the same options each day. The hotel itself feels a bit outdated, but the front desk staff were nice. Overall, it was okay for a short stay. The beach is small and I didn’t end up swimming since I spent most of my time out exploring. The location is convenient though — close to tacos, Starbucks, OXXO, and a BBVA bank."
