"Very close to everything "

"We stayed coming into San Jose Airport 1 day and 1 day going out ..It is a nice property for a day or 2 ,not alot to see except for park and catherdral nearby..Our shuttle picked us up early in La Fortuna,so we arrived there early...We contacted by WhatsApps and he let us in to store luggage..We needed to use the bathroom bad and he told we had to find someplace else to use ..Rooms were not available ..We were are older and cant hold it like we use too lol..If it had been me i would have offered...

"The location was nice and we enjoyed the small farm. The staff was very kind and helpful. The accommodations were rustic but fine with us. We enjoyed the outside seating area. We would have liked to have hot water in the shower and the kitchen is pretty minimal. Small things like a cork screw & bottle opener would be nice. Breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant."

"This is a great place to stay if you’d like to visit Costa Rica and really experience the city in a way tourists don’t usually get to. Warren was a fantastic host and will help you find whatever you are looking for. He was even available to take us on tours out of the city, all you have to do is negotiate a price (he was as good as any tour guide and less pricey!) I loved the stay there and was very thankful to find this hidden gem."

"I want a full refund for Casa Memo! My other accomodations (The Backyard Hotel and Hotel Santo Tomas) were excellent as advertised. Hotel Casa Memo a disaster. We informed the hotel prior to booking of our late arrival, and upon arrival at SJO, our Rental Car Company called the motel informing that we would be later, 0030 hours. We downloaded the directions for Hotels.com and also used our GPS. It directed us to the location of Avenida 4 and Calle 3. There we did not find the hotel, no sign...

I go to the address and no building exists The phone number is an illegitimate phone number The message system says they will take 2 days to respond They say nobody works at this address You must make a reservation to check in between their hours Best of all, no refund policy. scam, scam, scam I am reporting this place to the ICT (Institute of Costa Rica tourism board). I am an Expedia gold client...

"Edward is such a great host. He made sure we were comfortable for our early flight in the morning and even provided service to the airport. Great location not to far from the airport and good places to eat near by. Would stay again if every visiting San Jose. "
