I've been going to the Barcelo' for at least 15 years now. This last trip was a real disappointment. I still love the hotel itsel, but the staff just does not seem to care like they used to. Checking in was difficult even though it was pre paid, and then the room service never answered their phone. I went down to the restaurant personally to order in my dinner,then I was told by a phone call that they were out of soda. How do they run out of that ? When covid was going on the service was actually much better. I still love the hotel and I will stay there again but I'm disappointed

Very noise in the suites on end of building overlooking highway interchange. Trucks gearing down to make the turn. Also the hair dryer did not work the one time i needed it. But TV was very good wirh FOX News and CNN. Executive lounge wasgreat. I will stay again.

This was a beautiful hotel in a non-walkable area. On a map it looks like you can access big city offerings but you really need to drive or Uber. There are employees everywhere but only one person checking in guests so we had to wait about 15 minutes with only one person in front of us. There are beautiful restaurants, a fabulous pianist playing a grand piano in the lobby at night and a beautiful pool. We did lose water for a couple hours so we sat listen to the pianist, which was wonderful.
