Beautiful property; we were in the MacKay room and enjoy the spacious room, delicious breakfast and the staff are wonderful. We left our car parked and walked to everything. Dining choices abound. I would recommend this to adults and save time to relax on the porch.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this daringly restored magnificent Victorian heritage property. Staff were attentive and friendly. They left clear instructions and keys for my late check in and even packed delicious homemade scones as I left before breakfast service on my last day. The breakfast of either grilled portobello mushroom on toast with poached egg and pesto or fresh fruit crepe was scrumptious. Being Queens alumni, I appreciated the significance of staying in the Bader room. The four poster bed was very comfortable with an assortment of pillows. Custom Secret Garden toiletries manufactured in Kingston were luxurious. Being an avid gardener, I enjoyed the well kept gardens immensely. It was so nice to relax at the end of the day by the koi pond or on the porch swing. I would highly recommend this gem and will stay again. Many thanks to the owner Jason who even contacted me to ensure my stay was perfect.

This is lovely BnB. The air conditioning is regulated centrally for the rooms. Ours at the top of the house was quite hot and we had to ask them to put the heat down. Would have appreciated if this was pointed out to us. Otherwise a beautiful experience.

Lovely heritage property with gorgeous gardens, elegant decour and beautiful stained glass windows throughout. All staff were welcoming, friendly and provided top notch service. Wish we had more than just one night.

Cute bed and breakfast. Food was good. Friendly and helpful staff The bed was far too high! I literally had to put my foot on the bed rails and jump into bed! If I was older or had bad knees or hips I never would have been able to get into the bed. There was a small stair but not enough room on my side of the bed to put it there and it was a tripping hazard in the middle of the night Also, Covid is over! Time to tidy the rooms and fresh towels!

Lovely place! Beautiful environment. We really liked our room, it was charming spacious enough, bed was comfortable. Really loved the washroom, modern yet reminiscent of the era of the house. Highly recommend staying here.

The property is lovely. Our main complaint was the room we booked had a bathroom located down the hall. It was private but you had to leave your room and walk down the hall to use the bathroom, shower etc. not much fun in the middle of the night. We were not made aware of this until check in. I may not have booked had I been aware of this. Awkward if you ran into someone else coming out of their room.

Great location and beautiful property. We walked to dinner downtown and to the Queen's campus both in minutes l. The room was very nice and the hospitality amazing We had a delicious breakfast We will go back!

This is a lovely B&B in the heart of downtown Kingston. The rooms are beautifully updated with quality amenities for coffee, small fridge, toiletries etc. The location is perfect for exploring Kingston or attending business at the hospital or university.

Beautiful inn! We had a lovely stay in the Martello room. It was an extremely cold weekend in Kingston and it was so nice to come back to our cozy room with the fireplace. Our breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was very attentive.

This is a beautiful, historic property that is conveniently located between the downtown core/waterfront and the Queen's campus (both easily walkable in less than 10 minutes). Staff was very friendly for our full stay. We arrived past the normal check-in time, which we notified the Inn ahead of time. We were warmly welcomed, and the manager went out of her way to ensure we were comfortably settled-in from our journey. The only disappointment was after our first night. We hung the "Please make up the room" door hanger, but there was no service to the room during the day.

The only problem with the detached bathroom was the worry of disturbing other rooms during the night. While the breakfasts were good I prefer a variety of things to eat each morning. Over all our stay was outstanding and we will stay again.

What a gem, located in walking distance to shopping, harbour and pubs. Great gourmet breakfast too. 5 stars, great reception by McKinley, breakfast service by Daryl and cooking and hospitality by Jason, and easy parking right in front. Will definitely return here when in Kingston again.

The B&B itself is lovely and well located in Kingston. The bed was fantastic. The bathroom was super modern and shower great but typical - form over function and there was no counter space. The B&B is also in an old house and had tons of charm and original features - but it was not quiet. You can hear people walking above you, hear TVs and talking from other rooms and the fan in our room went on and off and when it came on - it was loud. Just things to consider. Finally - breakfast, which was included - was nice but for the price being charged per room - I feel they could have offered a lot more. We wouldn't stay again

We are sorry you did not completely enjoy your stay with us and will certainly look into additional strategies to reduce the noise. To be honest this is the first time we have been made aware of the issue. Regarding our breakfasts, our team is there to ensure you are taken care of and we always make additional food available if guests are still hungry. We cater to many cyclists and they need additional fuel for which we are there to take care of them. We do hope you may try us again in the future.
