"Beautiful property. Close walk to beach. They had sand chairs, an umbrella, some toys and boogie boards to borrow which was amazing. The property texted me before check in. I texted back to verify they had boogie boards to borrow, they told me no they did not have boogie boards to borrow. "I really liked our cottage. It was separate from the main hotel and it kind of felt like our own little or space away from everything else and it had its own little patio and a big grassy field behind. It was perfect for our family. My kids are older if we had younger kids it would probably be even better of a situation, but the kids are older and so we had a pullout sofa for them and our own private bedroom and bathroom was separate from the bedroom, which was nice because then, if the parents were in the room, the door could be closed and kids could still access the bathroom, which is different than most hotel rooms and it did have a kitchenette, but in the photos it was like a more well stocked kitchen with cups and it appeared to be like more with silverware and like kind of prepped for actual usage whereas when we got there, the shelves were empty and Bear and there were just the coffee maker in the fridge and a microwave and a sink so it would’ve been nice to have some utensils or even just like a way to cook like a hot plate sort of situation would be nice because we couldn’t cook a lot of the things that we wanted or like a knife to cut up the fruit kind of thing which the pictures did make it look like it was more of a kitchenette and less of just a hotel room fridge, mini bar situation. Parking was easy. The parking was right outside of the front door, so it’s easy to load and unload baggage. The air-conditioning units did seem to have some wear and tear it seemed"

"Property itself was nice and location was relatively close to Hanalei. As long as you don’t plan on golfing, I feel like the property is a good value. The golf course is super pricey so that was kind of a bummer. I’ve played pro course for far less but I guess when you’re in paradise, be prepared to pay paradise prices."

"The Sheraton was our go-to when we evacuated Poipu due to hurricane Lowell. They were very accommodating providing food, water, etc even when no power was available in our room. Can’t say enough about how sweet the staff was during our stay, even though they were extremely shorthanded."
