An Affordable Alternative to Expensive Accommodations in Poipu

First when you arrive, just park in the driveway between the yellow lines. The car parked far right will have one tire on the gravel. The front door is never locked and there will be a welcome note for you taped to the inside door post, just take it to your suite with you which will be open, keys on he bed. Its and easy check in!

Lanai Villas is a well established Poipu vacation rental property very close to The GRAND HYATT HOTEL. Many wedding guests say with us when the wedding is at the Grand Hyatt.

The BLUE HAWAII SUITE has a king bed in the main room a 40" flat screen TV, a large double glass door closet, a good sized kitchenette plus a convertible Queen sofa bed, and a double sink bathroom.. The suite has easy access to the backyard with propane grill, lounge chairs and an umbrella table with chairs.

The kitchenette features a double cook top, full fridge, electric fry pan, toaster, blender, microwave , and plenty of cookware and dishes.

Located in sunny Poipu within the Poipu Kai Resort our guests have full access to the pool and Jacuzzi. Lanai Villas is only three blocks from the beach and beautiful sunset ocean views.

One mile away are the Shops at Kukuiula, a high end shopping area featuring many restaurants and cafes, galleries, name brand stores (Like Tommy Bahama) drug store, farmers market and regular market..

This convenient resort area, Lanai Villas, is within easy walking distance to beaches, tennis courts, restaurants, championship golf curses, and the beautiful Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Poipu Beach is on the South side of Kauai and has generally sunny weather. Kauai offers many interesting places to explore as well as some of the finest beaches in the world. It is known for its sunshine and its wonderful ocean activities. Poipu Beach Park is only a one minute drive from Lanai Villas and offers plenty of free parking.

Lanai Villas offers the discerning traveler a great value for such a premier location in Hawaii.

Beautiful friendly convenient

This was a very nice place to be. It is part of a house but it seems very private. The owners were very friendly . Very nice decor and lots of equipment to use at the beach even snorkeling gear.

What a nice place. We enjoyed the chocolates and comfortable bed. They had everything we would need. We wish we would have been able to stay longer.

Super sweet location

If you don't want to pay the high prices of the ritzy places in Poipu area, this is the perfect place. The location is great with walking distance to beaches and hiking trails. The greenway paths are very convenient. The grocery store and lots of restaurants are less than 10 minutes driving distance. This place even has beach chairs and other beach equipment to borrow. You have everything you need to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Kauai.

Great stay on south shore

Great location near Poipu. The suite was private, comfortable, and clean. Cameron even provided a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts! Highly recommend for a stay along Kauai's south shore.

Perfect few days in Poipu

We, family of 4 with 2 kids, had a great time. We loved the apartment and the pool area. Cam was very friendly and we were able to use the available beach equipment any time. Lovely area and home to spend some time on Kauai. Would defi itely recommend!

The location of this VRBO was wonderful. We could easily walk to the swimming pool and to the ocean. Our host even left us with a welcome gift. We would stay here again if visiting the island!

Nice Place To Stay and Excellent Location

The Blue Hawaii suite was bright and airy. King bed was comfortable. Cam, our host was very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area since he’s a longtime resident. Location is excellent with green belt walking paths around the resort. Ocean, beaches, pool, and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would book this property again when visiting Kauai in the future.

Poipu suite

Mom and adult sons found this spot to be great for our needs. The location was quiet, near the beach. The suites are below the main house. Easy walk on groomed path to Shipwreck beach in front of large Hyatt resort. Our host was friendly and helpful. Clean, basic amenities. The fridge wasn’t working but owner gave us a quick alternative. My boys enjoyed lots of beach equipment available to guests. Would stay there again!

Fantastic location and host

We absolutely loved staying here. It was clean and comfortable and roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed too. It was a bonus to have a beach umbrella and chairs and boogie boards that worked so well!! Cameron was helpful as well as friendly. His directions and instructions were very detailed and helpful!! We would stay here over and over!!

What a nice host!

Cam (the host) was awesome. Great advices, a lot of equipment at our disposal (beach and kitchen gear), we even had the chance to find freshly picked fruits in our unit a few morning! We highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in September and Cam’s place was the best! Very comfortable bed/pillows, awesome layout. It is a shared building but the suite itself felt extremely private. Washer/dryer came in handy and were easy to use. Very close to the beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend for your Poipu stay!

Exactly as described!

Exactly as described! No surprises, nothing unexpected except for maybe just how amazing the location was! Had everything we needed to create meals and use as our home base while we explored the South side of the island. Owner was kind and responsive. The place is older, but it hasn't hidden that fact in the description. If you are looking for something in this prime location, you can't beat this price. Easy running distance to the heritage trail near shipwreck beach every morning was an extra bonus. Thank you again for having us!

Everything we needed for a relaxing stay

The host met us at the door when we got there. Very friendly. The accommodation was a very nice size. Lots of room with a separate kitchen and entryway. The location was very nice. No air condition but lots of windows with a beautiful breeze going through. We very much enjoyed our stay. Brenda Lee and Dave also had very convenient access to laundry facilities 😄🌴

Nice Little Flat

We had a nice stay at Cameron's flat near Poipu. We were impressed by the welcome and appreciated the detailed information we needed to know to make our stay comfortable. As advertised, it is just a short walk to view the sunset and a little further down to the beach. Although we did not get a chance to use them, all of the beach amenities--chairs, snorkel gear--seemed to be there for guests to use. perhaps most importantly, the bed was comfortable and we had good nights of sleep!

Nice place in Poipu

This was our 8th time in Kauai and usually stay in Poipu, but with condo rates being doubled what they usually are, we decided to try a VRBO for the first time. We weren't disappointed! Cam was a gracious host and the check in process couldn't have been easier. We loved that we had access to beach chairs, a cooler, snorkel gear, and boogie boards. The walk to the pool area took about 10 minutes but we did park by Kalapaki Joe's in the evening when we used the hot tub. There is a nice paved walkway that will take you to Poipu beach or Shipwreck beach. We will definitely be staying there again!!

The most bang for your buck!

Cam's place was awesome! It is just as described in the listing. We were able to do laundry right outside our suite's door as needed (at no extra charge). Parking was right outside the front door. The suite and neighborhood were very quiet. The neighborhood was beautiful. Cam was very helpful and responsive to texts. We didn't have to rent flippers or boogie boards since there were many to use, and the location was perfect to get to the beach and pool/hot tub quickly. We plan on staying here again!

Beautiful Kauai in Poipu Kolao

Loved the place. We had access to beach chairs, fins, umbrellas, beach towels, kitchenette was well furnished.The refrigerator had a britta water pitcher--so no need to buy bottled water. We had a cooler to use on outings, a lantern if needed. Cameron our host was friendly. I asked him if I could buy a tabelspoon of butter and he brought me a cube of butter. The bed was comfortable. It's within walking distance to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck beach and Point of Poipu. The home is in a lovely area.

Property needs work run down, furnishings very old. Kitchen needs work our overhead fan broken and our unit only had a two burner out plate. Kitchen pots very old etc.. Pillows very uncomfortable. TV was good and fridge was nice and good beach equipment. No deck. Overall basic accommodation at good price in excellent location.

Best Stay We Have Had Over The Years

We stay on the islands two weeks every winter. We've stayed many places and Poipu area is definitely a fav! We found The Blue Hawaiian Condo and it exceeded our expectations! We usually have to restock many items while there, but this Cam had everything and more at our fingertips! We didn't even have to rent boogieboards for the beach! He had them there for our use. It was close to all our favorite beaches, equipped for making our food at our condo as we enjoy doing, and very clean and comfortable. Cam's communication was excellent and we had no problems while staying! We will be back. Cam was thorough and polite and made sure we were happy. We feel blessed to be able to come for another two weeks and stay at his beautiful condo. Plus we made a good friend along the way. Cam is an awesome person. Thankful God brought us to your place to stay. God bless you!
