"My fiancé and I stayed in this property on our last day in Big Island. Conveniently located 5 min away from the airport, so we had plenty of time to savor up any time we had left over on the island. There are a few local places to eat within walking distance. There is a bay across the street where you can watch kids having fun and jumping off in the water or you can stroll for a nice sunset walk. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The experience overall felt really nostalgic. I grew up in a small town like Hilo, so it felt nice to feel a little piece of home there. "

"We loved staying at Ala Kai B&B. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They provided great dinner recommendations and places to visit. They also provided an excellent breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Our teenage daughter enjoyed having her own room."

"The property was well-maintained, clean, and pleasant. There were plenty of adventure-oriented towels, hats, boogie boards, and every other beach or touring device you might think of. There was also lots of literature about the island and its destinations. All of the sleeping accommodations were comfortable."

"Me and my family stayed a week here and we loved it! The location was convenient and the area was very nice and quiet. The home was clean and the owners were very easy to contact and kept in touch.
