"We had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa!
A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.
Loved our stay at Hotel Muso."

"Our stay at the Shijo Takakura Hotel grandreverie was great! It was the most memorable room of our trip to Japan, a great design and lots of space. The stone shower and bathtub were especially luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive. It's the one place we'd immediately go again!"

"Beautiful accommodation with all the extras. In a great location, walking distance to the market & lots of places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. The only drawback was the dryer took along time to dry, but the hotel provided a clothes horse which was handy. "

"Very clean room, considerate staff, lovely spa and lounge. The buffet breakfast at erutan was delicious and full of different options with clear markers for allergens and dietary restrictions. Got a wonderful aromatherapy massage at the spa. Loved the cocktail/charcuterie time at the lounge, was a wonderful way to end my day during my stay. The overall aesthetic of the hotel, with the lighting and the plants was beautiful. Glad I chose this hotel for my stay."
"Myself and my partner had the most incredible stay here. Ryan our guide was so knowledgable and went out of his way to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. "
"Great hotel that’s close to Kyoto station. Close to the subway stations making it easy to get around the city. Restaurant in the hotel is amazing. Room is good. Definitely on the smaller side but pretty standard for Japan"
