"We stayed at the Montecito Inn because it was close to the Music Academy of the West. Our room and bathroom were quite small, so small that I felt guilty leaving my husband there while I attended a workshop. The bathroom mirror was the smallest we have ever seen; so was the bar of soap, which was no more than .75” x 2”. The old-fashioned elevator was an irritation: you have to open a door and a metal gate in order to walk in. In the old days, there would’ve been an elevator attendant, but there was no such person at the inn. Montecito Inn imposes a $47 fee for “amenities,“ but that’s really a parking fee. They provide hot water and coffee in the lobby at all hours, but that’s necessary only because there is no coffee maker in the room."

"The location is amazing and access to the Rosewood Hotel property is the key to this home. My only criticism would be the home was a bit dusty, especially on the 2nd floor. And less is more when it comes to rental homes and bedding, there were too many additional pillows, blankets, and spreads for decor on the beds that felt dusty and unnecessary. Other than that communication with Serena was excellent and we had a great time."
