"It is fine stay if you come with friends and family to do BBQ. But not quite the thing for an international traveler. Service was great however and one can see that they are trying to improve the place.
Taxi from the station is 2400 yen and takes around 10 min. 15 min walk to the closest restaurant "
"Had the traditional breakfasts which were fun and tasty. Facilities were well kept and nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Really good views of the lake too."

"I’ve stayed in this property 3 times. Each time the staff has been exceptionally polite and helpful. Great English communication if needed. The Onsen on site is amazing with a fantastic view of Fuji. I haven’t tried the restaurant for dinner myself so I can’t comment on that but for breakfast it’s great. The hotel is also 5ish minutes from the FujiQ Highland stop so it’s convenient to get to if travelling from Tokyo and it’s half an hour one way to the Chureito Pagoda and half an hour the other way from Lake Kawaguchi. I’ve recommended this hotel to anyone who is staying in the area."
"Wonderful staff and a very nice place. Good views of Mount Fuji and the outdoor private bathtub was great for soaking in some hot water. Check in is really easy (you'll need to use a translation app at times if you don't speak Japanese). For US Residents who aren't used to sleeping on the floor on just a futon mat or 2, you may be a bit stiff waking up. We had to ask for a couple of extra mats and the staff was very helpful and understanding. Its about a 30 min walk to town where we rented E Bikes (Cash only for those) which was great for getting around for the day.7-11 is a 5min walk up the road where we could buy plenty of snacks. A few good places to eat not too far of a walk away. The resort also shuttled us back to the train station upon check out. Overall it was very nice. "
"Really great experience - highly recommend the half board option when staying in a Pao to BBQ your own dinner. Glamping was comfortable with clean bathrooms, a luxurious way to experience the outdoors near Fuji"
