"Perfect location to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji, lovely host, nice and clean room with Tatami. We were there in the an cloudy day, can see a bit of Mt Fuji, I imagine during a clear day it would be totally different"
"Had the traditional breakfasts which were fun and tasty. Facilities were well kept and nice. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Really good views of the lake too."

"Incredible view and location, even without MT Fuji being visible during our trip.
I would appreciate if there were more signs for onsen etiquette. We only knew because of prior research.
Lots of spiders outside so unable to open the windows "
"I’ve stayed in this property 3 times. Each time the staff has been exceptionally polite and helpful. Great English communication if needed. The Onsen on site is amazing with a fantastic view of Fuji. I haven’t tried the restaurant for dinner myself so I can’t comment on that but for breakfast it’s great. The hotel is also 5ish minutes from the FujiQ Highland stop so it ’s convenient to get to if travelling from Tokyo and it’s half an hour one way to the Chureito Pagoda and half an hour the other way from Lake Kawaguchi. I’ve recommended this hotel to anyone who is staying in the area."
"We stayed for 2 nights in late September (family of 3). The hotel is right on the lake, with beautiful views of Mt.Fuji from the roof top, and we had that same view from our room - it was spectacular! We had half board (breakfast and dinner) and the food and sevice were excellent. Onsen was an amazing experience - it was the first time for us and we loved it! That said, property could use some updates (for instance, our private bath was a bit outdated but it didn't bother us). Don't excpect super modern hotel, because that's not what Lakeland is. It is very charming and traditional. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again. "
