Check in is really easy (you'll need to use a translation app at times if you don't speak Japanese). For US Residents who aren't used to sleeping on the floor on just a futon mat or 2, you may be a bit stiff waking up. "The hotel is in a beautiful spot on the lake. We had a room with a Mt Fuji view and a private onsen which was beautiful. The hotel itself is outdated however it has everything you need. The half board dinner was amazing and the staff were lovely! Highly recommend!"
