"We were initially put into a room that smelled musty and the A/C did not work. Based on the condition of the room it should have been rented by the hour. We requested a move and were charged $60.00 for a room the same size, but didn’t smell. The hotel in general is not well maintained and dirty. The staff was not helpful and we heard complaints from everyone we met staying there. Sophie was especially rude and condescending. Pictures on Hotel.com did not represent the property adequately. About the only thing this hotel has going for it is its location. We will not recommend it to anyone."

"Was shocked when I was told that I would have to pay for on-site overnight parking. This should be listed with the room rate (i.e. room rate plus parking) not listed hidden in property amenities. I later found out that this is a common practice in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Also disappointed that a $15.00 off coupon, per table, was offered for breakfast. And then there was issue of our climate control was not working. The room was getting stuffy & too warm as we tried to turn the unit on at 11:30p. When we called for assistance the staff also unable to fix the unit so they moved us to another room and informed us that there would be no additional charge since the new room had a hot tub and the old one did not. We were grateful that there was another room available & were not charged for the upgrade but we would have used the hot tub but it was 11:45p at night and were leaving early the next morning. The climate control unit should have been working before we arrived or the room should have been put out of commision until fully operational. Lesson learned."

"Clean room, I really like the location it’s right by all the shops and restaurants. Great view of the American falls from the Fallsview room and close to Rainbow Bridge. Fantastic view of the nightly fireworks from our room. The other hotels are a bit further away but closer to the Canadian larger fall. Great service, friendly staff and a Starbucks in the lobby. Circle K right downstairs about 2 minutes away for water and snacks. Rooftop pool is wonderful and has a bar, cabanas and some games. I would 100% stay at this hotel again. The only con was parking. It’s so expensive at $70.00 per night."
