El Dorado South Hotels, Los Angeles

"We loved how close it was to Disneyland and other locations. The room we stayed had a strong cigarette odor but seems like it’s an old smell that is penetrating the room from the past. The smell was stronger in the bathroom thankfully not as much in the room since we had an infant with us. We only stayed 2 nights and it was good for the time we were there. It’s a safe area. It’s also very close to Toy Story parking so we walked to get the bus to take us to the parks when we didn’t want to walk."

"Staff was very friendly. Loved that there was a Starbucks in the hotel. Good amount of restaurants were within walking distance. A Target was a couple of blocks away."

"The AC was so freaking loud! Not just the one in my room but the one next door too! I turned mine off all night and still had to deal with the noise. "

"Hotel in general is outdated, and run down. The beds for the most part were comfortable but the bunk beds have a light feature that doesn't work and sticks out making it very dangerous for children.The little kitchenette has a light fixture on the wall right above where you sit which everyone kept. The pool was dirty/gross and the towels are very old and need to be replaced. There is no lifeguards, and the people supervising at the waterslides are dressed in jeans and sweaters so I don't think they are there to assist in any emergencies. The breakfast was ok, other than the staff saying it was closed 15 min prior to closing. As well as the cleaning crew trying to clean our room 15 min prior to our checkout time. Besides that, the staff was overall friendly, but I am not sure I would stay here again."

"The hotel is great but the only negative thing about it is the you have to pay $62 dollars for parking . "

"As always the service was excellent, the room was very clean and this time we had our view towards Disneyland and were able to see the fireworks from our room. "

"We stayed in a studio suite on the ground floor. There was plenty of parking, and the check in process was smooth and pleasant. I had let the hotel know in advance that we were having an ECV delivered for my mother, and they were kind enough to charge it for us in the lobby prior to our arrival. The room was clean, bed was comfortable but the pillows were just ok. We only stayed one night, so did not have a bed for the kitchen but it was nicely sized and well stocked. The hot water in the shower took a while to get warm, but the water pressure was good. We did take advantage of the free breakfast, which was surprisingly good for a hotel buffet meal. The morning we were there they had biscuits and gravy, and the waffle makers were a hit with our family. The only thing I was disappointed with was the coffee, but the staff/service well made up for it. Overall, for the price and walking proximity to Disneyland, I recommend this property. "

"This place was really dirty. Sheets were so old that holes were forming thru the cotton. No Breakfast. Standard room didn’t come with a fridge. You have to pay $20 extra just to get a fridge. Unreal."

"I would not stay here again. The carpet was so dirty it made the bottom of our feet brown. The next morning woke up with a sinus headache and stuffed up nose. The bathroom faucets leaked by the valves and made all our stuff on the counters wet. The Tv had no streaming service. So we couldn’t stream any of our apps."
