Find a Great Motel East County

"This place just is what it is, I think it provides exceptional value. I did feel a little uncomfortable at times but that’s just what happens when a hotel has great value. All in all, the staff took care of me, the cleaners did their jobs, and there was some construction going on too which was a little annoying but it’s good to see that they are making repairs and improvements. I would recommend this place if you need a local spot to stay and know how to keep to yourself. Thank you."

"This is literally a hotel if you must get something quick and low on money!! It helped with a situation that I needed to house someone and all other places yes nicer but higher price then what i wanted to pay! If I had to choose to go there to house a friend I’d go with the two bedroom it was nicer with a private balcony but again these are very low income hotel rooms ! Tv fridge microwave is in room. But staff is nice easy to communicate with!"

"East County gem. This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at Ayers Lodge, and it is truly a gem in East County. The rooms are clean (and now renovated,) the amenities are wonderful! (There is a sitting area outside, along with tables and chairs, a BBQ grill, as well as a fire pit. They have a great breakfast with a large selection, as well as chocolate chip cookies every night. The property is quiet and secluded despite being right by the freeway. There is a shuttle that will take you to and from Viejas Casino if you want to go there. This hotel is also close to several bars and restaurants. Definitely my go-to lodging when I come back home to visit. "

"Rooms clean, shady people around and some people live there, people working on cars, bed so old they are dented and coils hurt, thin walls and you can hear everything, room numbers not in order. It was very noisey. If you need cheap and dont mind comfort and are willing to deal with poor conditions."
