Area is safe and quiet. Not too far from dining. I had a bad room that smelled like smoke even though it was non smoking room. Other than that, I’m always mostly satisfied with my regular stays here. Always a pleasure.

Hotel accommodated all my needs for a good low price. Area had decent dining options not too far away and area seemed safe. Would be even better if there was a small breakfast in the morning but they did have coffee. I am a happy customer and would be returning as long as the price remains low.

Somewhat low price for S Diego, but quite satisfactory. Great shower. Fridge, microwave, TV cable, clean carpet that doesn’t turn the soles of my feet black. Nice lighting.

No free parking inside the premises. Valley parking only and was pricey. If you decline valet parking, you have to find street parking which can be dangerous because you have to cross the street with cars overspeeding.

Very clean, comfortable stay,. Having a microwave and refrigerator was a must-have, thank you. I only wish I would have had time to use the beautiful pool.

I can’t do too much complaining since hotel price is very reasonable and met all of my needs. Many food options within the area to choose. Would be nice if there was something more than coffee provided in the morning. Also, if your room is near the street side, many emergency vehicles will pass by and can be disturbing but not as much disturbance in the back. If you’re looking for a decent hotel on a budget, this is a good choice. You get what you pay for and it accommodates all your needs.

Nothing fancy, but everything you need a good rest and sleep. Very clean bathtub and toilet. Comfortable bed ( comforter could be better). The room had a mini fridge and microwave, table, and chairs, TV, but no hair fan ( not good). Overall, clean room with almost everything you need for short stay.

Location was great for us. I would have liked being able to open the drapes without being exposed to someone walking by. A sheer panel would have been nice. Otherwise everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again if in the area

Rodeway beats Hampton hands down

We are Hilton Honors members and have stayed at the Hampton in Santee. They have more amenities and the rooms are nicer, but the biggest amenity is the friendliness of the staff and ownership. That's why we stay at the Rodeway. (just wish the bed was a bit softer!}
