Was supposed to stay at The Welk , a Hyatt vacation club resort in Escondido, it was awful (including the service and room). We left within 20 mins of being there. Drove straight to the Omni in Carlsbad. This hotel and staff were AMAZING! From the registration desk, the food, rooms, pools, grounds, all of it. Impeccable service and incredibly clean. It was a true Oasis. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved our experience. I can’t wait to go back.

This property was filled with over 400 kids for spring break and it felt more like Disneyland than a luxury resort. My room was big but old and outdated and smelled a bit mildew. In the area Where I stayed there was a lot of trash in the area around the parking. As if it was a forgotten area. The restaurant service was good and the stafff was accommodating. I probably won’t stay there again.

I had a wonderful time at La Costa. The staff were professional and attentive. The room was fantastic, although I wish they had real bathroom doors. The food was delicious, and I loved that the fitness room was open 24 hours. You truly don’t have to leave the resort to enjoy yourself.

We got the junior suite which we very enjoyed. Room is spacious and clean. Front desk staff Denise was very nice and professional. Strong enough Wifi and great organization on Easter Day with egg hunting events for kids. We didn’t participate but we enjoyed the view and liveliness of it. One down side, we requested amenities but didn’t receive service after a long wait. I had to ask the housekeeping team in the morning for things I asked for the night before.

Vanessa at the front desk as great, the room was very clean, the jacuzzi was clean. The guys driving around in golf carts saw me and my girlfriend carrying all of our luggage and didn’t stop to see if we needed anything. Other than that, the layout of the resort is pretty bad with zero signs anywhere. Self parking is expensive and in a dirt lot. Won’t be back.

The service is always the best here. Stayed here for a golf getaway with my buddies and really enjoyed myself. Loved both courses; but the North is by far the better course. The rooms have been updated and are amazing. Looking forward to my next visit.

The staff at the Omni were incredible!! From check in to check out they were above and beyond. William at check in was fabulous and had our room ready early and was able to add the valentines special with late check out. When the champagne and strawberries were not delivered they went above and beyond sending champagne and chocolate Bon bons, waived the fee, and even Kimberly followed up sending a second bottle of champagne and the chocolate covered strawberries. All staff was attentive and our long weekend was unforgettable. Thank you all so much for making the weekend magical!! We will definitely be returning ❤️
