What a delight the hotel is beautiful outside and inside. Clean lines, modern with a great eco vibe. The staff were very personable and helpful. The countryside is just beautiful. We really enjoyed being out of Bilbao and near the coast

High quality and location of this homely property was superb. WIFI network was not secure.

Amazing architecture. The degustation dinner was also very good. The wine tour was so-so, very scripted.

Nothing to complain about here, everything is spotless and clean. Very accommodating staff, the area is quiet and peaceful and a great place for some Golf.

The location is fantastic. Four minutes to the harbour. Two minutes to the walking street behind the hotel (onto which our hotel room looked) with so many people gathering and chatting and eating and drinking - so convivial! Great food, great drink, lots of history nearby, a short (5 minutes) ferry ride to the French side 4 minutes away, terrific coffee and pastries right across the street. And our room was comfortable and just roomy enough. Totally recommend!

Well located to the city’s sights. Very friendly and helpful staff who assisted us with leaving luggage after checkout. The hotel buffet breakfast offered a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast options and was good value for money especially as many local cafes don’t open until quite late

Fantastic room with great outdoor balcony and amazing views. Distance to city was manageable due to good access to bus (31 or 35 route) 5mins walk from hotel.

We enjoyed our time here, a far downhill walk to the beach, so a good walk uphill to get back, although you are on part of the Camino Walk! Worth the walk to see the beautiful long sandy beach and the harbour.

Terrific location. 30mins drive from airport and 30mins Metro to central Bilbao. Delicious, fresh and wide range of breakfast foods. Helpful staff.

The Silken Hotel Laguardia is very well situated near the bottom of the hill below Laguardia. It is only a 10-12 minute walk up the hill (hint, use the elevator to save yourself some of the climb). The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. Mine was on the third floor with a good view out over the surrounding countryside and its many, many vineyards. Spacious room and modern bathroom with a seperate shower as well as a bath. There was an electric jug and coffee and tea making facilities which we really appreciated as this was not common in Spain. The receptionist gave us a map and advised us places to go which was helpful too.
