"Basic townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Can walk to downtown Ferndale. Am very annoyed about the large damage deposit which was charged when I booked months ago and then took nearly 2 weeks to be refunded. Owner says it's up to VRBO. How about a hold at check in?"

"My wife, myself and 2 adult sons were in town for an afternoon wedding in Detroit. We rented the loft for a family after-party as downtown was a madhouse with the draft in town. 34 of us gathered there from 7-11pm and were more than comfortable. The neighborhood is still in need of rejuvenation but there are few people around and we felt totally safe the entire time. The loft is indeed a gem in the rough. Hope to rent again next time we're in town."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks for business and it worked out great. Having a garage was a big plus with the snow we had while we’re there. The carpet and walls are showing their age, but the townhouse was well equipped! Great communication from the host."

"This place was terrible. Should never have been listed. Ceilings dirty, previously wet and sagging. Carpet ripped and FILTHY. Horrible patchwork pink paint covering dirt and graffiti in the hallway. Host never responded with entry information. It was all bad. Vrbo did set me up in a hotel for 3 of my 5 nights then I had to find lodging for the rest of my stay Awaiting my refund for that."

"This apartment was vintage and completely clean. The apartment can include a romantic theme for couples, as well as, a quiet stay for friends or small family. The Host is also a great aid and extremely nice. 👌 "

"Newly renovated was the only positive. Wasn’t upfront about the plugged toilet and tried to mask the smell by locking the door and putting bleach in the bottom of the dishwasher and Lysol. Was promised 2 bathrooms and 4 adults from different families had to use one. A charge of garbage disposal for $50 We were from a different country - where is the garbage going to go. Back to Canada 🇨🇦"

"It was great to bring our dogs with us on our visit to Detroit. The accommodations were Clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The neighbors were pleasant and the bar down the street was a nice place to have a drink. We visited Belle Isle and Gross Pointe Park. We found great restaurants that allowed dogs for outside dining. Great trip! "

"It was close to everything. We went to Ford Field, which was only a 5-10 minute walk. Theres plenty of restaurants close by to chose from. Or, right next door theres a convenient store, which has all kinds of things to chose from"

"Very clean and lovely house. Great safe neighborhood for dog (or person) walking. Great location near the highway for access to downtown Detroit and surrounding areas. My dog, especially, had a great time with the large yard, dog artwork, and all the toys."

"Good value, and very easy process with the Sonder app. There were some minor issues with the room (toilet and hand-towel fixtures were loose, some outlets didn't work), and things could have been a bit cleaner, but for the most part we were very happy."
