"The reception staff were very welcoming. The hotel room is clean and spacious. Not the most modern but a great price for a great location and a nice pool."

"Beautifully designed resort on the side of a cliff. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with lots of privacy. Highlights were the high quality breakfast (dinner at this restaurant was also great), the main pool area and the gym.
Note there are a lot of hills to navigate if you are walking around the resort, but the buggy service is relatively fast."

"Walked from the airport to the resort ( about a 10 minute walk). The resort blew my expectations away and the staff were incredibly helpful! Wish I was staying in this part of Phuket longer just to stay at this resort. Perfect for solo travelers & will be recommending this place to anyone flying into Phuket."

"We reserved the delux jacuzzi pool side room. The room was overall good. Just the bathroom had an outdoor shower so when it rained bad the water did come into the shower and there was rain water dripping from the ceiling in the room. Also smells strange from the rainwater and outdoor shower. The staff was great and very helpful. Decent breakfast. But the place definitely needs some upgrades."

"Would definitely recommend getting a pool access room. Was very relaxing swimming and sitting on the deck. The private beach was also great to sit on and swim without being pestered. The food and cooktails where also delicious."

Pristine beaches like Surin and Bang Tao offer perfect spots for swimming and sunset watching in Choeng Thale. Luxury resorts and beach clubs provide oceanfront dining, while nearby Kamala Beach hosts the spectacular Phuket FantaSea cultural show.
An amazing hotel and part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the world and truly reflective of the title.
We travelled with 3 teenagers so were spread over 2 rooms but with the safety of the hotel they were never a concern or worry.
Location is great with only a small walk across to uncrowded Surin beach.
Staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was ever a problem, many thanks to all of you for making our holiday truly remarkable!
Hope to be back some time in the future.

We booked a package via Expedia, initially with 3 nights at The Surin in Phuket, then 7 nights at The Mukdara in Khao Lak. We loved our first three nights after which we travelled to Khao Lak. Without going into it, The Mukdara was one of the worst experiences we have ever had on our travels. While we had already paid for the 7 nights at the Mukdara, we stayed only 3 so we did give it a chance. We rang The Surin asking if they could take us back and were overjoyed when they said yes. What a beautiful hotel. Right on the beach with warm ocean to swim in or your choice of four huge pools. Rooms have a view of the pool and the ocean. The rooms are large and the beds are so comfortable.
They just need to get their policy right on people not reserving the sunbeds around the pool and it will be perfect. If you're going to have it written on the boards beside the pool as a rule then you need to enforce it. Otherwise it's hard to get a sun bed after 9am. People put their towels on...

Well I think this is about as good as it can possibly get. An amazing resort with distinctive "industrial" tone to its buildings - and they pull it off magnificently. We stayed in a villa which was simply stunning - about 600 m of space across two buildings and with its own substantial pool. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. The Villa is not cheap but if you want something for that special occasion well this is the place.

Amazing! The staff were friendly and went beyond. I broke my ankle the day we arrived. What could have been a nightmare turned into a great experience.
Everyone was helpful and kind. The best place to start recouperating! Stay in the pool
Access rooms. Quiet and Thai style. Clean. They offer free rides to certain places around Rawai and because of my situation they dropped us off and picked us up every day from around Rawai free of charge. I will definately return - 5 star service for a lot less...

This is one of the finest hotels in the world!
We stayed there as part of the sandbox program. The hotel is ideally located in a quiet part of Phuket - away from the crowds and built up areas. All staff are vaccinated and we felt totally safe. The hotel is perched on a cliff top overlooking Naithon Beach. Access is via a walkway or down the drive. The beachside village is also very safe with a range of fabulous restaurants (Sameena was the best) along with a wide range of beachside massage...

We are a couple in our early to mid-sixties, who have just spent 8 nights in a ‘Grand Pool Villa’ which included free Wi-Fi and full breakfast - a great choice in hind-sight! We have travelled extensively in recent years and highly recommend this resort and spa as one of the best we have stayed in. While researching where to stay, we noted a number of reviews were critical of the place for one reason or another, for example:
