Spacious two bedroom condo with a cozy feel!

"The property was nice but the building is old. There have been upgrades, you can tell. The owner has attempted to make the place cozy. However. The building, being old, allowed a lot of noise to be very distracting. You could hear a lot of outside noise indoors, you can hear the people walking and running water. The pipes made noise, all of these things the owner can't fix over night or at all if the cost is too high and I completely understand. However I was awaken because of the noise, that wasnt pleasant. Im very glad the neighborhood is fairly quiet, the most noise came over the weekend when everyone was out and about. There were cosmetic details that didnt bother me at all but im mentioning because im not sure if the owner visits the property at all or just has a cleaner come in and reset the place. As for the cleaning, the cleaners are not taking enough time to clean. There are marks on the walls, dirty trash cans, I even saw a few plates that were not clean. All small things but definitely could use some additional focus. I enjoyed my stay and I would suggest the location for others as long as they are not light sleepers."

"We are absolutely thrilled with this stay. The host ( his wife and sweet little boy) were fantastic! They attended promptly to any questions or needs we had with kindness and care. The place was clean, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. I will definitely book with them again! Incredible experience!!!"

"It's was great! We where in town on a couples getaway and had a wonderful time. This place was, for the most part, all around perfect; all but the fire hydrant, hot tub N/A, and the tree that keep us from the green room balcony. But you can't blame mother nature or let her stop you. We still had a blast. The location was perfect after parting in the city. The scenic routes from and to this home were beautiful. This home was spacious enough for three couples to hang out together and still have their personal space. Oh yeah, our host was great with communication and decorations."

"The apartment was clean and appropriately sized for the people visiting.it was nice to have the apartment as a reprieve from our summer Chicago visit (AC included is a plus). Aldi's grocery is in walking distance /Trader Joe's is close too. Property is an easy drive to several attractions. Owner was responsive and helpful through the whole process. Would definitely stay here again."

"Overall, we had a great stay and would consider staying here again. The location was excellent—about 20 minutes from the Field Museum and other attractions, making it convenient for our trip. Check-in was quick and easy, the neighborhood was incredibly quiet, and street parking was plentiful and hassle-free. The home itself is beautiful, and the amenities provided made our stay comfortable.The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some cleanliness concerns upon arrival. There were dishes left in the drying racks, hair on the bathroom floors, and crumbs and sand on both the downstairs couch and the living room seating area. The downstairs bathroom also had a slight mildew-like odor.While these issues weren’t enough to ruin our stay, they were noticeable and kept the property from feeling truly guest-ready. With a little more attention to cleaning details, this would easily be a 5-star rental."
