"Easily 30 mins of mountain road on the drive up but friendly drivers who didn't tailgate made the drive up bearable. Room was old and without tv but spotlessly clean. Lots of free activities, restaurant has the most amazing food despite the location and a slightly higher than normal price. Definitely eat at the restaurant for dinner but watch out for their friendly parrots who would sit with you and eat your food. We booked a 2d1n and should have stayed at least a day more. Don't miss the alpaca place at the bottom of the mountain, near the OReilly's winery. $3 to get up close and feed alpacas but a lovely experience. Manager's greeting is free with a glass of champagne and a nice talk about the history of the place. Staff were all friendly, loved the animal encounter show, got up close with sugar gliders. Overall a lovely good time. Would revisit!"

"The motel room was spotlessly clean and very modern. It had all the facilities I needed including a fridge, crockery, cutlery and excellent air con. It was a 10 minute walk to the town centre and beach. I would definitely recommend the motel."
