"We stayed in the North Tower and were given a recently renovated room. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep all night due to a loud banging noise occurring every few minutes. We later realized it seemed to be coming from the air conditioning compressor or related system, which made a very loud banging sound each time before the fan shut off."

"Our room was never serviced even when we didn’t have our do not disturb sign. Upon leaving we were unsure how to check out because no one was at the desk. The rooms are out dated. Have patched up holes. No bugs which is a positive. Continental breakfast was poor. Cereal, pastries, banana n juice, coffee. Upon check In the lady was very nice and professional she was the best part of the stay. Will never book again."

"The room cleanliness was not there. The upkeep of the property has been overlooked. The floor of the shower was disgusting., the phone in the room was so dirty like it has not been cleaned in MONTHS. There is splatter of something on the molding on the ceiling, and the caulking and painting the has been "done" is shotty all together! My daughter and I ended up shortening our stay because it just did not feel good, safe and the staff at the front desk did not seem to care about how our experience was. I am SHOCKED that EXPEDIA would recommend this "motel" hotel on their site., they should be ashamed of themselves! We will be back to San Diego, but will DEFINATELY not stay at Comfort Inn San Diego at the Harbor. There are so many other options that exceed what is offered than what we had."

"Pros Clean Staff very responsive Close to restaurants and grocery Pool maintained Cons No ethernet as stated, only wifi. Needs screen on sliding door Toilet loose and makes noise of tank lid moving around Sparatic loud high pitched noise (I believe from pipes when other people using water) No microwave. Air vent very dirty, needs cleaning for cleaner air circulation."
